SERVICES

  • The goals to follow the general and sustainable guidelines used in oral health care, the so-called routine care recommendations, in order to permanently bring oral and dental health and rehabilitation to a proper level.

To achieve this goal, modern treatment methods, up-to-date and excellent staff training and special responsibility for the patient are needed. We use a fix-term call system, where the patient receives a call at individually agreed intervals.

Our clinic is a basic care place operating on the principle of a low threshold, but very demanding comprehensive care patients are also welcome.

  • WE PERFORM the most common oral surgical procedures, such as tooth extractions, implant surgeries, bone grafting / bone augmentations, surgical tooth extractions, oral mucosal surgeries, biopsies, and other dentoalveolar surgical procedures.

In our operating room, we also perform apicoectomies and removals of root-tip cysts.

We also treat minor jaw fractures resulting from dental trauma.

Bone grafting, implant surgery and the other surgical procedures mentioned above are performed by our dentist, dental technician and M. Sc. Dr. med. dent. Jorma Lukkariniemi. He completed specialization studies according to the EU qualification guidelines (Donau Private University) in 2018 and was accepted into the medical doctor program (Ph D program) at the same university, specializing in oral surgery and implantology.

Surgical experience includes over 9000 dental implants, placed between 1985 and 2025. A trained and experienced assistant always assists during the operations. We use only the best regenerative bone augmentation materials and top implant brands (Straumann and Bego Semados).

WE DO NOT PERFORM orthodontics or maxillofacial surgery, oral tumor surgery, or surgical treatments for various infections and developmental disorders. These treatments often fall under the responsibility of oral maxillofacial surgeons working in hospital.

  • Dr. med. dent. M.Sc. Jorma Lukkariniemi is also a dental technician, prosthodontic expert, and practitioner. He is particularly familiar with replacing missing teeth using various methods.

The principle is to replace missing teeth cost-effectively for the patient while simultaneously preventing future problems caused by missing teeth. Commercially available, cost-effective partial dentures are also part of the treatment spectrum.

Instead of clips, mini-implant snap fasteners are used for attachment, ensuring firm hold and good aesthetics. If conditions permit, we also fabricate full dentures with snap fasteners.

For full dentures, we only use Straumann mini-implants of the highest quality. If necessary an appropriate number of mini-implants are inserted in each jaw, usually 4–6. Sometimes up to two snap fasteners in a full denture can be sufficient.

Prosthetics can replace one or more teeth or an entire row of teeth with implants or by fabricating conventional fixed bridges or crowns.

A detailed treatment plan and cost estimate are prepared for each patient, and a payment plan for the treatment is agreed upon.

The goal of prosthetics is a cost-effective, clinically and socially functional dental replacement solution.

Every comprehensively treated prosthetic patient receives regular annual examinations.

We use two (2) implant systems: One is the Swiss Straumann Premium implant and the German Bego Semados Top implant. We strive to stimulate and motivate the patient throughout the treatment planning process to restore their dentition.

  • Dental Clinic Dentarium Ltd started in Finland as a pioneer in replacements for missing teeth using implantology in 1985, among the earliest clinics. Today, procedures are performed in part using digital methods and 3D X-rays.

We use only high-precision Swiss Straumann and German Bego implants, their surgical and prosthetic components as well as a certified laboratory.
We now also use the newest Straumann BLT (bone level) and SP (standard plus) implant types.

To support successful procedures, when necessary we also do bone graft surgery using only newest bone forming agents. This ensures a good regeneration process for the artificial root supporting and adjacent tissues and secure permanent support. Necessary radiology examinations are done using the very best radiological methods, and results are interpreted by a radiologist.
Dental implants can only be placed in a healthy mouth, so other possible problems must be controlled.

PRICES / Cost of one (1) tooth implant (Bego): Price 1399,00 euros, normal price 3350,00 euros.

PRICE IMPLANTS ARE CHARGED IN ADVANCE.

Supervised after care period includes five (5) free dental exams and visits to check correct bite.
Lifetime warranty does not cover peri-implantitis, in other words inflammatory complications, and is not in force if the patient has not come for regular dental exams when notified of their times.

Warranty on the prosthetics is five (5) years.

  • The cause of inflammation of the dental pulp is untreated, advanced caries. The inflammation is treated with root canal treatment. The pulp tissue is mechanically removed, and the root canals are disinfected and treated with medication.

Root canal treatment requires several treatment sessions. Finally, the treated root canal is filled, and the tooth is either provided with a plastic filling or crowned with abutments.

Bacteria originating from deep caries can penetrate the sterile dental pulp. This can pose a health threat because the same bacteria also circulate in the brain and coronary vessels via the bloodstream.

For this reason, root canal treatment is often a necessary procedure.

We perform root canal treatments according to standard procedures and current treatment recommendations. If necessary, we consult an endodontic specialist, i.e. a dentist specializing in root canal treatments or a radiologist.

Root canal treatments are usually routine in practice, and treatment decisions are made by the treating dentist. In complicated cases, the prognosis for root canal treatment may be unfavorable.

In this case, tooth extraction and implantation are recommended.

  • Periodontology is a speciality of dentistry that studies and treats the supporting and adjacent tissues of the teeth, such as the gums and jawbone, and related diseases, like periodontitis (peri-implantitis in implants).

The disease is caused by inflammation caused by bacteria, which weakens the attachment of the bone and can, if it progresses, lead to tooth loss.

In treatment, we focus on removing tartar and cleaning gum pockets and maintaining good oral hygiene. We also perform demanding flap surgeries and tooth extractions in cases of advanced periodontal disease.

We use general university clinic specifications and research results.

We perform all curettages in operating room conditions with sterile instruments. We also use Straumann Xenoflex and Emdogain regenerative bone forming materials if necessary.
